One result of our two years away from the business was our decision to make a fresh start with new priorities. As part of this, we have come to the reluctant conclusion that we must no longer take orders on our work. We say "reluctant" because we realize this will be disappointing to many people who may have wanted a certain design. We apologize in advance for the disappointment this may cause, and we hope that you will understand. However, the constant pressure of trying to fill orders and requests in the past has interfered with the design and development of new ideas. We found ourselves continually duplicating our old designs with no time or energy left over to create new ones. The result of all this was a distinct lack of joy in our work and a feeling of being stifled. It will certainly be more fun for us to just let the creativity flow and let the process take us where it will. We feel this step is essential if we are going to stay in business.
