" This piece started out (in my mind at
least) to be a witch and she was posed to fit a Chrysnbon organ. If you look
carefully at her shoes you can see the "witchy" upturned toes. However,
as I began to play with stripes and colors, the concept began to change. When
Polly was all finished I wasn't sure she was a witch at all, maybe just a
very "eccentric" lady! Then the organ became a project that was
so much fun it seemed to go on without end! Using acrylic paints, I covered
it with Halloween murals replete with a witch flying on a broomstick, an owl,
a bat, a jack-o-lantern and ghosts flying through the starry night sky. Is
she or isn't she a witch? You decide!"
